"When a tornado hit our home this past March (2024), we quickly realized how unprepared we were to navigate the claims process. Trees down, flooding, destroyed property, wind damage, hail damage—there are a myriad of things to account for during an incredibly stressful time. Contractors, adjusters, clean-up crews, HOA inspectors, insurance inspectors—there are plenty of people to coordinate with too. When things started to wrinkle, Mary H., our policy manager, helped us get critical filing process questions answered, coordinated contacts for us while our claims manager was on vacation, and helped us to secure our first payment award in a timely manner. It’s not her role to manage our claim, but when she sensed our frustration, she stepped in willingly and readily to help where she could. The stress and anxiety of a weather event is more than enough to have to go through. Mary‘s attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond helped to minimize the complexity. Thank you Mary!"
